Approach Personnel are proud to be working alongside a reputable precast manufacturer based in Leicestershire, who are looking for an experience Maintenance Engineer to help servicing their plant and machinery.
Day to Day
This position plays a vital part in the everyday running of our clients precast factory and the maintenance of their machines. Their machinery includes hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, used in the manufacture of various concrete products including slabs, manholes, pipes, gulleys, etc.
- Completing regular, scheduled servicing on all machinery, including daily, weekly, monthly, and annual checks
- Working together with the machine operatives to ensure smooth set ups and change overs
- Inspecting machinery to diagnose and rectify issues with manufacturing machines and their mechanical parts
- Complying with health and safety policies, and advising on potential hazards
- General housekeeping duties
About You
Essential:
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in maintenance engineering of plant and machinery
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both as part of a team and independently
- Ability to use mobile electronic equipment
- Full UK Driving License
Beneficial:
- Experience in Electrical Maintenance of Plant and Machinery
- Qualification or Certification in Welding
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
- Knowledge of Hydrolics
The Specifics
Schedule:
This is a full time role from Monday to Thursday, 5am – 3pm with a 30 minute paid lunch break. Friday shifts are available when needed and are paid at time and a half.
Package:
- £16.87 per hour paid weekly
- Weekly Bonus of up to £150
- Flexible Holiday
- Overtime available at £25.30
