The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, analysing project drawings and specifications, and working closely with clients and project teams to ensure financial viability and cost control throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires a proactive approach to estimating, strong attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex contract documents. As a senior team member, you will also be expected to provide mentorship to junior estimators and contribute to the development of estimating strategies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within the construction industry
- Thorough understanding of construction methods and materials
- Ability to interpret and analyse project drawings, specifications, and tenders
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Strong communication and negotiations skills
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
