Senior Quantity Surveyor

Approach Personnel is seeking a experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis for a reputable Housing Developer based in Northampton, East Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects of housing development projects, ensuring cost control, procurement, and contractual issues are effectively handled to deliver projects within budget and on time. The role requires a proactive individual capable of liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to optimise project outcomes. You will play a key role in tendering, valuation, and financial reporting, contributing to the overall profitability of each development.

  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the housing or construction sector
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction contracts, pricing, and procurement processes
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Qualification in Quantity Surveying or relevant construction-related discipline
  • Experience with cost control, valuation, and financial reporting in housing projects
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and industry standards
